How do I book a stay?

You can book directly on our website or through AirBnB and VRBO. Click the “Book Now” button and chose your preferred platform. It will take you to our listing link which will allow you to book any available nights.

Do you offer military discounts?

Yes, we offer a 10% military discount! Send us a chat for direct booking or send us an inquiry in VRBO or AirBnB for us to give you the special rate on your selected dates.

What is the cancellation policy?

You can view our cancellation policy on our “Policies” page which is linked at the bottom of this page. You can also see our cancellation policy on AirBnb or VRBO.

How do I get there?

From 29N or 29S, turn onto Hickory Creek Rd. After 1 mile, keep right onto State Rte 614. Follow the gravel road for about 1.5 miles and you will see a sign that says "Welcome to Perkins Hollow Cottage" on your left. Go through the open cattle gate and stay left at the fork.

What is there to do?

If you look on our "Explore" tab, you will find many things to do from hiking and shopping to festivals in the area.

Where should I bring?

We are surrounded by beautiful nature but with that comes bugs and sun exposure. Bug spray and sunscreen should be on your packing list. Less necessary but still recommended items are sturdy hiking boots, lightweight pants, and refillable water containers.

Where are the best places to eat?

Charlottesville has some of the best food in Virginia! Visit our “Explore” tab and click the Dine icon to see a list of our favorite places. If you find a place you love that isn’t on our list, let us know!
